HD-DVD

Our work for HD-DVD gave us the opportunity to show off our talents in producing larger-than-life creative ideas.

Working for Unit9 we devised a huge spread of assets for the HD-DVD simulator, a towering 3D interactive experience showcasing the latest mainstream visual technologies.

Viewers visited a website to interact with seven virtual ‘experiences’ designed to promote the larger resolution, futuristic capabilities of HD-DVD. Each experience presented its unique set of challenges: complex rigging and character animations, fluid, smoke, water and particle simulations, and the need to successfully manage and deliver a range of complex assets. We think the results prove that we succeeded.
