iD SIM

Working with the fine ladies and gents at Parliament films for agency AllTogetherNow we were tasked with helping to launch the new SIM card from iD. ‘Sensible’, ‘subtle’, ‘refined’ are all words that we don’t use to describe this film. I think ‘silly’, ‘tongue in cheek’ and ‘batshit’ are more appropriate.

A really refreshing pisstake of the high gloss mobile films that are everywhere, this flippant film somehow still manages to communicate the key elements of the SIM. Ahh, Brass Eye, we miss you.

The film was put together with some hadcore 3d > After effects action and a ton of editing to the hyperactive audio track. We polished the 3d / Aftereffects exchange tools we’ve been building over the years to a super smooth experience, speeding up the production and iteration time of the film dramatically.
